Job summary

Serve as gatekeeper for the Festus office, assist financial clients, and support the two, producing Financial Professionals at the Firm.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for Financial Services meetings with clients, take notes during meetings and input into CRM, prepare and process paperwork.
  • Manage RMD process and confirm RMD Status, as well as distributions to clients.
  • First point of contact in the office and on the phone for financial clients; therefore, applicant should possess poise, grace, and know applicable business etiquette including workplace, table manners/meal, professionalism, communication, and meeting etiquette.
  • Manage overall Financial Client relationships.
  • Maintain calendars for Festus office and confirm appointments through texting platforms
  • Advanced knowledge of and use of databases; Organize and initiate workflows through database; monitor follow-up activities
  • Advanced knowledge of Financial Services technology platforms, such as CIRStatements/Albridge/Wove, Netx360, DST Vision, Annuity and Mutual Fund websites and service portals.
  • Assess Financial Services book of business and marketing opportunities for growth.
  • AEP Assistance:  Medicare paperwork distribution; confirming appointments; entering in returned Medicare paperwork

Primary Skills & Requirements:

  • A High School diploma (or equivalent) and 2+ years of experience as a Financial Professional or assisting a Financial Professional are required. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Applicant must have at least 2 years of Financial Services experience.
  • Life & Health Insurance license preferred. If not licensed yet or in progress, passing the licensing exam will be required within the first year of employment. The required training will be paid for by Hovis & Associates.
  • Must be poised, driven with a positive attitude, maintains strict confidentiality, and has a sense of urgency.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail, organizational, problem-solving, verbal/written communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required. Experience with CRM is strongly preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibilities will be to serve as gatekeeper for the St. Louis office

  • First point of contact in the office and on the phone; therefore, applicant should possess poise, grace, and know applicable business etiquette

  • Maintains calendars for STL office and confirms appointments

  • Sanitize office space at end of each day

  • Maintains visitor logs

  • Regularly orders and tracks office supplies

  • Gathers and processes paperwork from Medicare beneficiaries including but not limited to:

  • Emails/mails paperwork to beneficiary

  • Follows up with any questions

  • Run prescription comparisons on Medicare website

  • Searches doctors in networks

  • Prepares applications

  • Adds policy details in database

  • Scans paperwork into database, redacts application (if applicable)

  • Confirms policies are effective/active

  • Handles any application issues

  • Submits applications on behalf of the executive and for own production

  • Track applications and send out disenrollment letters when needed

  • Update the client of approved policy status

  • Track certifications for Ready to Sell Drawings

Primary Skills & Requirements:  

  • Life & Health Insurance license preferred or must obtain one within three months of hire (Training, exam, and license paid for by Hovis & Associates-Bonus paid upon completion)

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, positive attitude, uphold a high degree of confidentiality, organized, good stress management, and excellent verbal/written communication skills.  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Pro.
